Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FreeSoulz, developed and offered by Geo Venture Labs, handles information in the FreeSoulz app, at freesoulz.com, and when you contact support.
You can continue without an account and use local/free features on your device. An account is required for purchases, purchase restoration, subscriptions, account-owned Library content, and account deletion. We do not claim that FreeSoulz collects no data.
1. Data that stays on your device
On Android, daily plans, routines, Quick Captures, reflections, recovery history and derived progress, reading notes, highlights, bookmarks and reading position, protection selections, custom domain rules, schedules, focus preferences, the Guard PIN, and related local display state are stored on your device. The audited Android source does not upload this practice data to the FreeSoulz account, entitlement, or reader-content services.
Android account-scoped records and downloaded paid-reader content are encrypted at rest using keys protected by Android Keystore. The app does not enable Android cloud backup for its app data. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
Android selected-app blocking observes foreground changes only for apps you choose. FreeSoulz does not upload the selected-app list or foreground-app events to its servers. Android website blocking uses a local DNS-only VPN. Custom block rules are stored locally; allowed DNS requests still travel to the DNS resolvers used by Android or your network, and those providers may process the requested domain names.
FreeSoulz may download a signed protection list. That request can create the operational server logs described below, but it does not include your custom domain list.
2. Guest mode and account data
Guest mode
If you continue without an account, FreeSoulz does not ask Firebase to create an account for you. Guest data is local to that installation. There is no cloud account to delete. You can remove local FreeSoulz data from Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete Local Data.
Account creation and sign-in
If you create or use an account, the email address and password you enter are sent to Firebase Authentication for account creation, sign-in, email verification, password reset, and reauthentication before account deletion. Firebase assigns a user ID. FreeSoulz stores secure session state on the device so you can remain signed in. The app does not store your account password after it is sent to Firebase.
Account-owned services
For entitlement checks and paid Library delivery, authenticated requests use a Firebase identity token and the minimum request details needed for the feature. These may include the account identifier, requested entitlement, book identifier, content revision, chapter identifier, and server revision. Paid chapter content downloaded to Android is cached in encrypted, account-scoped storage.
3. Purchases and entitlements
Apple, Google Play, or Shopify processes payment depending on where you purchase. FreeSoulz does not receive your full payment-card number from those providers.
FreeSoulz may process the store, product identifier, purchase or subscription status, entitlement, account binding, transaction or purchase reference, verification result, refund or revocation state, and timestamps needed to grant, restore, secure, or remove access. If Google Play purchases are enabled in an Android release, the purchase token and related verification details must be sent to the FreeSoulz purchase-verification service before access is granted. The current Android release configuration does not yet enable live Google Play purchasing.
Purchase, entitlement, fraud-prevention, refund, revocation, accounting, and audit records are separate from the Firebase Authentication account. These records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver and restore access, handle refunds and disputes, prevent fraud, protect the service, and meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. When they are no longer needed, they are deleted or de-identified where applicable.
4. Operational server logs
When the app or website contacts a hosted service, cloud infrastructure may automatically log the IP address, user agent, request URL and method, response status, request and response sizes, protocol, server IP address, and latency. These logs are used for service operation, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
The current Google Cloud default request-log bucket retains these operational logs for 30 days. Provider-controlled required audit logs are retained for 400 days. These periods do not establish how long account, purchase, entitlement, support, or commerce records are retained.
5. Support and website data
If you email support@freesoulz.com, Geo Venture Labs and its email service process your email address, message, attachments, and related correspondence to answer and manage the request. Do not send passwords, Guard PINs, complete purchase tokens, or payment-card details. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal or security obligations.
The website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify may process device, browser, network, cookie, order, and technical hosting information needed to provide the site and store. Shopify purchases are governed by the applicable checkout and store notices.

7. Advertising, tracking, and sale
The audited Android source does not include advertising, advertising-ID, third-party analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs. FreeSoulz does not show ads in that Android build and does not use app data for cross-company advertising tracking.
Geo Venture Labs does not sell personal data collected through FreeSoulz.
8. Deletion and retention
Signed-in users can start account deletion in FreeSoulz from Settings > Account > Delete account. On Android, after Firebase confirms account deletion, the app attempts a resumable cleanup of the account-scoped local session, Guard PIN, recovery, Home and reflection records, Reader state and cached content, local entitlement cache, protection rules, schedules, focus preferences, and secure settings on that phone. If local cleanup fails, the app reports the failure and offers a retry.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription, delete provider purchase history, or prove deletion of separate server entitlement, commerce, support, backup, security, or audit records. See Account deletion for the request path and details.
The separate Delete Local Data control removes FreeSoulz data from the current Android device and signs out the local session. It does not delete a Firebase account, purchase history, billing, platform permissions, external backups, or files you previously shared.
9. Children
FreeSoulz is designed for adults and is not directed to children. Its personal protection features are for the user’s own device, not hidden monitoring of another person.
10. Security
FreeSoulz uses encrypted transport for configured production app services and encrypted account-scoped storage on Android. Access is limited according to operational need. We review security controls, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Contact and changes
Geo Venture Labs may update this policy when FreeSoulz, its providers, or legal requirements change. The current published version will appear on the FreeSoulz Privacy Policy page.
